E3F-5DN1-5L Long distance Through-beam photoelectric sensors with 5m
Working Principle
The transmitter directs a light beam toward the receiver, which emits continuously or changes pulse width. When an object passes through the light path between the transmitter and receiver, the light is blocked, causing a change in the intensity of light received by the receiver. The detection circuit converts this change in light intensity into a change in the electrical signal, thereby outputting a switch control signal to detect the object.
Product Features
1. Extremely high detection reliability: As long as an object can block light, it can be detected. It is completely unaffected by the object's color, material, surface reflectivity, shape, or tilt angle. Whether detecting black rubber or mirror-finished stainless steel, the effect is exactly the same.
2. Long detection distance: Since it directly receives light with minimal attenuation, its effective detection distance is the longest among all types of photoelectric switches, ranging from a few centimeters to several hundred meters (for through-beam laser types).
3. Strong resistance to environmental interference: It uses modulated light of a specific frequency, and the receiver is only sensitive to that frequency, effectively resisting interference from ambient light (including strong sunlight) and other stray light.
4. Requires installation and alignment on both sides: The emitter and receiver must be installed on opposite sides of the detection path, making wiring more complex than diffuse reflection or mirror reflection types.
5. Must be precisely aligned during installation to ensure the emitted beam accurately enters the receiver's receiving window, making adjustment relatively cumbersome.
6. Cannot detect transparent/semitransparent objects: For objects like glass or transparent plastics, light may pass through, resulting in unreliable detection.
