ESMDR500 High-quality integrated capacitive liquid level sensor for Solid, liquid
Working Principle
The ESMDR500 digital display capacitive liquid level meter operates based on the principle of capacitive sensing. Its core probe is equivalent to a capacitor, composed of a central electrode and the container wall (or an external electrode), with the measured medium serving as the dielectric in between.
When the liquid level changes, the dielectric constant of the medium surrounding the probe changes, leading to a corresponding change in capacitance. The higher the liquid level, the larger the proportion of liquid with a high dielectric constant, and the greater the capacitance value.
The built-in signal processing circuit converts the capacitance change into a standard electrical signal. After amplification and linearization, the microprocessor calculates the liquid level value, which is then displayed in real-time on the LCD screen. At the same time, it can output a 4-20mA analog signal or a switch signal for remote monitoring and automatic control.
This principle is simple and reliable, unaffected by the color or density of the medium, making it suitable for various working environments.
