ESMEM Integrated Electromagnetic Flow meter for sewage and wastewater

The ESMEM integrated intelligent digital electromagnetic flowmeter is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. It features an integrated pipeline design, on-site digital display, requires minimal straight pipe, and is specially designed for conductive liquids. It measures: water, sewage, acidic and alkaline liquids, slurry, chemical solutions, and waste liquids. It is non-clogging, has no resistance, and high accuracy.

    Working Principle

    When a conductive liquid flows at a velocity u in a magnetic field, the conductive fluid cuts through the magnetic lines of force, generating an induced electromotive force e between electrodes installed at the ends of the diameter of the pipe section perpendicular to the magnetic field. The magnitude of e is proportional to the magnetic flux density B, the pipe diameter D, and the average fluid velocity u, that is, e = BDu. From this, the volumetric flow rate of the pipe can be obtained: qv = πDu = πDe / 4B, meaning that the volumetric flow rate qv has a linear relationship with the induced electromotive force e and the pipe diameter D, is inversely proportional to the magnetic flux density B, and is independent of other physical parameters.

    Self-diagnosis system: Monitors in real-time for excitation coil open/short circuits, electrode contamination, signal noise, and other faults, and provides code prompts.
    Data recording: Built-in memory stores historical flow data, power outage records, and alarm records (black box function).
    Communication networking: Standard RS485 (Modbus RTU).
