ESMRD 80GHz Continuous Frequency Modulation Wave Radar Water Level Meter
Working Principle
The 80G radar bit meter adopts frequency modulation continuous wave (FMCW) technology. The antenna emits high-frequency FM radar signals, and the frequency of the radar signal increases linearly. The transmitted radar signal is received by the same- -antenna after being reflected by the measured medium. At the same time, the frequency difference between the transmitted signal frequency and the received signal frequency is proportional to the measured distance. The collected frequency difference signal obtains the frequency spectrum of the reflected echo by the fast Fourier transform (FF T), and thus calculates the distance o of the target to be measured
Product Features
The product refers to a frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar product operating at 76-81GHz.The product range can reach 65m, and the blind zone is within 10 cm.Due to its higher operating frequency, larger bandwidth and higher measurement accuracy. The product provides the fixing method of the bracket, which makes the installation convenient and easy without on-site wiring.
1.Based on the self-developed CMOS millimeter-wave radio frequency chip, it realizes a more compact radio frequency structure, a higher signal-to-noise ratio, and a smaller dead zone.
2.5GHz working bandwidth, so that the product has higher measurement resolution and measurement accuracy.
3.The narrowest 6° antenna beam angle, the interference in the installation environment has less influence on the instrument, and the installation is more convenient.
4.Integrated lens design, compact size.
4.Low power consumption operation, lifespan is more than 3 years.
5.When the water level exceeds the upper and lower limits (configurable), upload alarm information.
application scenarios
1. Petrochemical and Storage & Transportation
Various storage tanks: crude oil, refined oil, chemical raw materials, liquefied gas (LPG/LNG).
Complex conditions: reactors with intense stirring, high-temperature and high-pressure vessels, tanks with volatile substances producing vapor.
Small-diameter tanks: small tanks that previously could only use capacitive or tuning fork sensors can now achieve high-precision continuous measurement with 80G radar.
2. Water Treatment and Environmental Protection
Sewage tanks/wells: penetrate mist and foam above the water surface to accurately measure liquid level.
Open channels/overflow weirs: non-contact water level monitoring with support brackets.
Corrosive liquids: acid and alkali storage tanks (with PTFE antenna).
3. Food and Pharmaceuticals
Hygienic applications: stainless steel polished antennas, compliant with FDA/3A standards, for measuring milk, juice, syrup, and pharmaceutical liquids.
Sterile environment: non-contact measurement to avoid contaminating the medium.
4. Power and Metallurgy
Deionized water/condensate: measure pure water with low dielectric constant.
High-temperature tanks: withstand high-temperature steam environments.
5. Solid Silos (applicable for some models)
Although mainly used for liquids, some high-power 80G radars can also be used to measure granular solids (such as plastic pellets, grains), especially when dust levels are high, as their penetration is better than low-frequency radar.
