ESMTS100 3kg 5kg 10kg Half-bridge electronic scales load cell sensor with 10vdc
Working Principle
When an object is placed on a sensor, gravity causes the elastomer of the sensor to undergo slight elastic deformation. The strain gauges attached to the elastomer also deform accordingly, resulting in a change in their resistance. The strain gauges are usually connected in a Wheatstone bridge circuit, and the change in resistance causes the bridge to become unbalanced, thereby outputting a faint voltage signal proportional to the gravity applied. This signal is then processed through amplification, filtering, and A/D conversion, ultimately converting it into a display of the object's weight.
Product Features
1. High precision, good linearity, fast response speed
2. Small size, easy installation, moderate cost
3. Suitable for monitoring static and dynamic stress, vibration, and load
4. Needs moisture-proof and waterproof measures; long cables should have interference protection
application scenarios
1. Baby scales and pet scales:
Require extremely high sensitivity to measure tiny weight changes from a few grams to several kilograms, usually using miniature single-point sensors.
2. Infusion pumps and syringe pumps:
Built-in miniature force sensors monitor the remaining liquid and drip rate in real time to prevent air from entering the blood vessels or the liquid from being completely infused, ensuring patient safety.
3. Smart pill boxes:
Monitor changes in bottle weight, remind elderly users to take medicine on time, and record medication adherence.
4. Precision dispensing and coating systems:
Monitor glue bottle weight changes in real time, control dispensing volume, with accuracy up to milligrams, widely used in semiconductor packaging and mobile phone screen assembly.
5. Small parts sorting machines:
Integrate miniature scales at the end of vibrating plates to quickly eliminate small screws, springs, electronic components, etc., that do not meet weight standards.
6. 3D printer material monitoring:
Monitor the weight of filament spools in real time, predict remaining material, and automatically pause or alarm before it runs out.
7. Express automated sorting systems:
Embed miniature dynamic weighing modules (checkweighers) on high-speed conveyor belts to instantly read package weights and guide sorting, handling hundreds of items per minute.
8. Unmanned retail cabinets/smart vending machines:
Lay miniature sensor arrays (gravity-sensing shelves) at the bottom of each shelf. After a user takes an item, the system automatically identifies the product type and deducts payment based on the weight difference, enabling "grab-and-go".
9. Self-checkout counters:
The weighing platform in the scanning area is used to verify the weight of fresh products to prevent manual input errors.
10. Agricultural breeding:
Automatically weigh individual seeds, fruits, or insects for selecting superior varieties.
