ESMTS500 50kg Electronic Portable scale sensor with 10VDC

The ESMTS500 strain-type weighing force sensor is a device that converts force (weight) into an electrical signal output. It operates based on the resistive strain effect and is widely used in industrial weighing systems, such as electronic scales, electronic pricing scales in the commercial field, and platform scales; it is also employed in laboratories, medical settings, and other situations requiring high precision, for the accurate measurement of object weight.

    Working Principle

    When an object is placed on a sensor, gravity causes the elastomer of the sensor to undergo slight elastic deformation. The strain gauges attached to the elastomer also deform accordingly, resulting in a change in their resistance. The strain gauges are usually connected in a Wheatstone bridge circuit, and the change in resistance causes the bridge to become unbalanced, thereby outputting a faint voltage signal proportional to the gravity applied. This signal is then processed through amplification, filtering, and A/D conversion, ultimately converting it into a display of the object's weight.
