Working Principle
When the balance cover of the transmitter is put into a certain position in the liquid to be measured, the pressure applied by the sensor through the air pipe is: P=9.807ρ.H+Po
Where: P: Pressure felt by the sensor, unit: Pa
ρ: liquid density to be measured, unit: kg/m
H: depth of the liquid to be measured, unit: m
Po: pressure on the liquid surface, unit: Pa
If the back cavity of the sensor communicates with the top of the liquid, then Po is zero, so it is equal to about 0.102P/p, and the transmitter converts the pressure signal when it is sensed into an electrical signal, which is proportional to the height of the liquid surface.
Note: The container of the liquid to be measured must be open to the atmosphere, ie it is open and cannot be closed. Otherwise, the measurement result will be meaningless.
