ESMZL-1 single pulley tension measurement sensor for various fibers, yarns, metal wires
Working Principle
ESMZL-1 is based on Hooke's Law. When a belt or rope passes over a pulley, the pulley experiences tension-induced bending stress, causing the strain gauges inside the sensor to deform, which in turn leads to changes in their resistance. The strain gauges are usually connected in a bridge measurement circuit, and changes in resistance are converted into electrical signals. By measuring these electrical signals, the tension exerted on the object can be calculated.
