The ESMZL-T2 large-range three-sheave tension sensor is a heavy-duty tension measurement device designed based on the principles of resistive strain and triangular force decomposition. Its core consists of two guide rollers, one load roller, and a built-in strain-type force measurement unit. The measured cable/rope passes over the three sheaves, forming a fixed angle of wrap. The tension is converted through force decomposition into pressure perpendicular to the load roller, causing the elastic body to deform, and the Wheatstone bridge outputs an electrical signal proportional to the tension.
The product uses a high-strength alloy steel body and wear-resistant pulleys, with a range covering 500 N–100 kN (0.05–10 tons) and an accuracy of ±0.1%–±0.2% FS, with a safety overload capability of 120%–150%. It features a robust structure, impact resistance, and strong stability, suitable for high-tension scenarios with wire ropes, cables, steel strips, and heavy-duty cables.
It supports mV/V, 4–20 mA, 0–5 V, RS485, and other signal outputs, which can be directly connected to PLCs, tension controllers, and data acquisition systems.     Working Principle

    The ESMZL-T2 three-pulley tension sensor typically operates based on the strain gauge principle. When the material being measured passes over the three pulleys, the tension causes slight deformation in the pulley support structure. The strain gauges attached to the support structure experience changes in resistance, which are converted into voltage signals through a Wheatstone bridge. After amplification and processing, the output is an electrical signal proportional to the tension.
