High accuracy ESMLS07 Bellows load cell Sensor for packaging weighing
Working Principle
When an object is placed on the ESMLS07 bellows sensor, the bellows undergo elastic deformation under pressure or tension, causing a change in the resistance of the strain gauge. The detection circuit converts this resistance change into an electrical signal, which is then amplified and filtered, ultimately producing an electrical signal proportional to the load, which is used to display the weight of the object.
Due to its high cost and excellent performance, bellows sensors are mainly used in scenarios where ordinary sensors cannot survive:
1. Food and Beverage Processing:
Meat/Seafood Processing Lines: Equipment that needs to be repeatedly washed daily with high-pressure hot water, steam, and disinfectants.
Brewing/Dairy Fermentation Tanks: Ingredient weighing in high-humidity, easily corrosive environments.
2. Filling Production Lines: Situations with extremely high hygiene requirements.
3. Pharmaceutical and Biotech Engineering:
Weighing modules for reactors and mixers, requiring GMP certification and resistance to harsh sterilization procedures (SIP/CIP).
4. Chemical and Offshore Engineering:
Fertilizer/Pesticide Ingredients: Environments exposed to corrosive chemical gases.
Offshore Platforms/Ship Scales: High salt spray and high humidity environments.
Wastewater Treatment: Long-term humid and corrosive gas environments.
5. Harsh Outdoor Environments:
Open-air hoppers and waste weighing stations, needing to withstand heavy rain, ice, snow, and silt.
6. Underground or Pit Installations:
Sensors installed in pits are prone to water accumulation and must use bellows type to prevent moisture damage.
