High-precision ESMSNJ07 flange static torque sensor for Alloy steel material

The ESMSNJ07 dual-flange static torque sensor is a high-precision sensing device specifically designed to measure torque on stationary or low-speed rotating shafts. Its core uses high-quality alloy steel or stainless steel elastomers, with standardized mounting flanges integrated at both ends, allowing direct connection to the drive system via bolts. The structure is compact and exhibits excellent rigidity.

When the shaft transmits torque, the elastomer undergoes slight shear deformation, and the internal Wheatstone bridge converts the deformation into an electrical signal proportional to the torque. This sensor has outstanding resistance to eccentric loading and bending moments and includes an built-in overload protection mechanism to ensure long-term stability under complex operating conditions.

The product range is 0.5 to 150 Nm, with accuracy up to 0.1% FS or even higher, providing analog voltage/current and digital signal outputs. With its maintenance-free design, high response, and excellent temperature compensation characteristics, it is widely used in motor efficiency testing, gearbox calibration, valve actuation torque monitoring, screw tightening tool calibration, and static torque monitoring in industrial production lines. It is a key component for ensuring the safety of mechanical transmission and the precision of processes.

    Working Principle

ESMSNJ07 static torque sensor operates based on the principle of resistive strain. When torque is applied to the sensor, the elastomer inside deforms, and the strain gauges attached to the elastomer change their resistance accordingly. The bridge circuit composed of the strain gauges outputs a voltage signal proportional to the torque due to the change in resistance. This signal, after amplification, filtering, and conversion, becomes readable torque data.
