High precision ESMWYS-M Cable displacement sensor with 2500-8000mm
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Inside the sensor, there is a stretchable stainless steel cable wound around a threaded hub, which is connected to a precision rotary sensor. When the cable is attached to a moving object and moves with it, the cable stretches and contracts, causing the hub to rotate. The hub then drives the rotary sensor to rotate, thereby converting the linear motion of the cable into rotational motion. The amount of rotation is converted into an electrical signal output, and by measuring the output signal, the displacement, direction, or speed of the moving object can be determined.
Wire rope displacement sensors are mainly used for warehouse position positioning, reservoir dam protection, gate opening control, pressure machinery, papermaking machinery, textile machinery, metal sheet machinery, packaging machinery, printing machinery, level controllers, construction machinery, industrial robots, injection molding machines, woodworking machinery, elevators, air compressors/hydraulic presses, height gauges, X-Y axes and other length displacements, liquid levels, and other related dimensional measurements and position control.
