The UB500-18GM75 is a high-performance ultrasonic proximity switch, designed in an M18 cylindrical shape, with a detection range of up to 500mm and a minimal blind zone. Working Principle

The ultrasonic proximity switch's transmitter emits high-frequency ultrasonic waves. When these waves encounter an object, they are reflected back. The receiver captures the reflected echoes, and by measuring the time it takes for the ultrasonic waves to travel from transmission to reception, and combining this with the propagation speed of ultrasound in air, the distance between the sensor and the object can be calculated. When the distance reaches a preset threshold, the switch outputs the corresponding signal.
