High Temperature Hessman 4-20ma output PT100 Temperature transmitter
Working Principle
The resistance of a PT100 thermal resistor changes with temperature: as the temperature rises, the resistance increases, and vice versa. The measurement circuit inside the transmitter, such as a Wheatstone bridge or constant current circuit, measures the resistance value of the PT100. Since the resistance-temperature relationship of a PT100 is not perfectly linear, the microprocessor or dedicated chip built into the transmitter linearizes the signal according to standard calibration tables. At the same time, it compensates for drift caused by the influence of ambient temperature on its electronic components, amplifies and conditions the small resistance change signal, and finally outputs a 4-20 mA current signal, a 0-5V/0-10V voltage signal, or digital signals
