Low price ESMPE18 Infrared photoelectric liquid level control switch sensor for tank
Working Principle
The photoelectric liquid level switch uses infrared detection, utilizing the principles of light refraction and reflection. Light will undergo reflection or refraction at the interface between two different media. When the liquid being measured is at a high level, a boundary is formed between the liquid and the photoelectric switch. When the liquid is at a low level, a boundary is formed between the air and the photoelectric switch. These two types of boundaries result in different intensities of reflected light received by the photoreceptor inside the switch, corresponding to two different switch states.
Product Features
1.Features accurate liquid level detection, high repeatability, and fast response speed.
2.The output is only related to whether the photoelectric probe contacts the liquid surface and is unrelated to other properties of the medium such as temperature, pressure, or density.
3. High reliability, long service life, and maintenance-free advantages, and can also be made into multi-point liquid level switches.
application scenarios
1. Coffee Machines / Capsule Coffee Machines:
Water Tank Low Detection: When the water level drops below the probe, the machine immediately stops heating and prompts to add water, preventing damage from dry burning of the heating pipe.
Waste Water Tray Full Detection: Monitors the water level in the tray and prompts the user to clean it when full.
2. Robot Vacuums / Floor Washers:
Clean Water Tank: Low liquid level alarm to remind adding water.
Dirty Water Tank: High liquid level emergency stop. This is a strength of the infrared switch, which can cut off the suction motor at the millisecond when the dirty water is about to overflow, protecting the circuit board from corrosion (float switches respond too slowly and are prone to overflow).
4. Humidifiers / Aroma Diffusers / Atomizers: Automatic power-off when out of water to prevent dry-running and burning of the atomizing sheet, improving safety.
5. Electric Steam Cookers / Garment Steamers / Steam Mops: Real-time monitoring of water storage to ensure continuous and stable steam output; stops immediately when water is insufficient.
6. Smart Toilets: Monitors water tank level to control water inlet valve; some high-end models use it to monitor bubble shield fluid level.
7. Water Dispensers / Tea Machines: Smart base water shortage detection and hot water tank level control.
