Working Principle
The ultrasonic proximity sensor has a built-in ultrasonic transducer. The transducer emits high-frequency ultrasonic pulses, which travel through the air. When the sound waves encounter an object, part of the waves is reflected back, and the transducer receives the reflected echo. The sensor calculates the distance between itself and the object by measuring the time interval from emission to reception of the echo, combined with the speed of sound in the air. When an object enters the preset detection range, the sensor outputs the corresponding signal, triggering a switch action or providing distance data.
