Stainless Steel M8 threaded probe thermocouple temperature sensor for k type
Working Principle
The K-type thermocouple is based on the Seebeck effect, which states that when the junctions of two different metals are at different temperatures, a potential difference will be generated between them. A K-type thermocouple consists of a nickel-chromium alloy (positive) and a nickel-aluminum alloy (negative). When there is a temperature difference between the hot and cold junctions, a thermoelectric voltage is generated in the circuit, and the temperature can be inferred by measuring this voltage difference.
Product Features
1. M8 Threaded Mount: Standard M8×1.25 (common) external thread, comes with a locking nut, can be directly screwed into the device threaded hole, ensuring stable installation; materials are mostly 304/316 stainless steel.
2. Probe Sheath: Stainless steel sheath tube (304/316/Inconel optional) to protect the internal thermocouple; common probe diameters are 3/4/5mm, with lengths of 50/100/150/200mm optional.
3. Thermocouple Junction: Type K (K thermocouple), available in exposed, grounded, and insulated junction types; grounded type responds quickly, insulated type is anti-interference.
4. Lead Wire: Glass fiber/Teflon/stainless steel braided high-temperature wire, IEC standard color coding (red positive, blue negative); can come with UT cold-pressed terminals or aviation connectors.
application scenarios
1. Surface temperature measurement of industrial equipment (motor bearings, heating plates, molds, pipe exterior walls)
2. HVAC, ovens, injection molding machines, 3D printer hot ends
3. Laboratory, automated production line, power equipment temperature monitoring
4. Food machinery, new energy battery pack temperature measurement
