Wall-mounted ultrasonic flowmeters are a common installation type of ultrasonic flowmeter, specifically referring to designs where the transmitter (main unit/converter) is structured to be mounted on walls, control cabinet panels, or brackets. Split type: The sensor (probe) is installed on the pipeline and connected to the wall-mounted main unit via a shielded cable. This method facilitates reading and maintenance, and the main unit is not affected by pipe vibrations or high temperatures.
Housing design: It usually adopts a robust cast aluminum material and has a high protection rating (IP65/IP67) to suit industrial site environments.

    Working Principle

    The time-difference method is usually used, where an external clamp-on sensor emits and receives ultrasonic waves, measures the difference in propagation time of the ultrasonic waves in the fluid in the downstream and upstream directions, and then calculates the fluid flow velocity. Combined with parameters such as the pipe's cross-sectional area, the flow rate can be determined.
