UC1000-F36 PNP/NPN output Sensing distance 70-1000MM Ultrasonic Sensor for 10-30VDC

The UC1000-F36 is a square ultrasonic proximity switch of the F36 series, with a detection range of 70–1000mm, a blind zone of 0–70mm, and a power supply of 10–30VDC. It uses the time-of-flight principle of sound waves for non-contact measurement, features built-in temperature compensation, and is unaffected by the color of objects, dust, or light, ensuring stable measurements. It supports PNP/NPN switch outputs and 4-20mA/0-10V analog outputs, allows TEACH programming to set the detection window, and has a repeatability of ≤0.5% FS. The compact square housing has IP65 protection, an M12 connector, and easy installation. It is suitable for liquid/solid level monitoring, transparent object detection, automated positioning, AGV obstacle avoidance, and can be stably integrated into PLC automation systems.

Working Principle

The ultrasonic proximity switch's transmitter emits high-frequency ultrasonic waves. When these waves encounter an object, they are reflected back. The receiver captures the reflected echoes, and by measuring the time it takes for the ultrasonic waves to travel from transmission to reception, and combining this with the propagation speed of ultrasound in air, the distance between the sensor and the object can be calculated. When the distance reaches a preset threshold, the switch outputs the corresponding signal.
